Pigments are the basis of all paints, and have come from natural sources from the beginning of time through today. These natural non-toxic pigments make the world much colorful and are harmless unlike other synthetic chemical pigments.
Most of these natural pigments also have special benefits to humans. Take lycopene for example, people take lycopene for preventing heart disease, hardening of the arteries; and cancer of the prostate, breast, lung, bladder, ovaries, colon, and pancreas. Lycopene is used for treating human papilloma virus (HPV) infection, which is a major cause of uterine cancer. Some people also use lycopene for cataracts and asthma.
Stanford Chemicals manufactures and distributes a series of rare and hard-to-find natural pigments for fine artists and decorators, pharmaceutical companies and food institutes.
